November 5, 2012 – Last week was a difficult week for New York and Touro. Our hearts and minds go out to those who have suffered personal tragedies over the past few days. Touro schools and systems are almost fully restored to normal function. Power has been restored to the Main Campus on 23^rd St. and email is functioning. Emails sent last week will be addressed as quickly as possible.

I would like to personally thank the Touro faculty, staff and administration who have worked tirelessly through this process. There are too many to single out any one.

We are providing Supportive Services, legal advice and emergency loans to help members of our community who have suffered from the hurricane and its aftermath.

We hope that this will be a week of healing and recovery that will allow us to return to our mission while being cognizant of the hardships that many in our community continue to face.
